We collect information necessary to provide our social media management services. This includes your account email, display name, and the OAuth credentials (access tokens) required to publish to third-party platforms. We never store or ask for your third-party social media passwords directly.
When you authorize Cobar Media to connect to third-party social networks (such as TikTok, Facebook, or Google APIs), we only access the data strictly necessary to schedule and publish your media. We do not sell, transfer, or broker any data obtained via these APIs (including the TikTok API) to third parties. Data is retained strictly to facilitate your app functionality and is purged when no longer required.
By connecting third-party platforms to Cobar Media, you will also be bound by their privacy policies. If you connect your YouTube account, you agree to the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. If you connect to TikTok, you agree to the TikTok Privacy Policy.
You have the right to request the deletion of all your personal data and any tokens associated with third-party platforms. To completely remove your data and revoke access, you may delete your account within the Cobar Media dashboard, or request manual data purging by contacting our support team. Revoking access directly inside your third-party app settings will immediately invalidate our tokens.
We implement commercially reasonable, industry-standard AES encryption to protect your access tokens and personal information against unauthorized access.
